Chip Foose and FOX Factory Vehicles Join Forces Ahead of SEMA 2026

Chip Foose and Rich Webber at Foose Design discussing the FOX Factory Vehicles collaboration

A new collaboration with Chip Foose brings together a shared passion for design, performance and building vehicles that stand apart. The first result debuts at SEMA 2026.

Some of the best automotive collaborations start with a simple conversation.

For Chip Foose and FOX Factory Vehicles' Rich Webber, it started with a discussion about wheels. That conversation quickly turned into something bigger: what could happen if one of the industry's most recognizable automotive designers teamed up with a company built around engineering, performance and developing complete specialty vehicles?

Now, FOX Factory Vehicles and Foose Design are bringing that idea to life.

The two teams have officially joined forces on a new automotive collaboration, with the first vehicle set to make its debut at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

And while we're keeping the finished product under wraps a little longer, there's plenty to be excited about.

Two Teams. One Shared Passion.

If you know Chip Foose, you know his work goes far beyond making vehicles look different.

He's spent decades studying what makes a design work—the proportions, the stance, the lines and the small details that can completely change how a vehicle looks and feels.

At FOX Factory Vehicles, we approach vehicle development with a similar attention to detail, but through our own combination of design, engineering and performance.
We believe a vehicle should be more than the sum of its parts, especially when those parts are engineered by FOX.

From industry-leading shocks and suspension systems to wheels, performance components and complete-vehicle development, our focus is on creating vehicles where everything works together. Not just to deliver more capability, but to create something that looks, feels and performs like a complete package.

That's what makes this partnership such a natural fit.

“For me, designing a vehicle has always been about more than just making it look good. It's about creating something where every line, every component, and every detail works together.”

More Than a Name on a Vehicle

This isn't about putting the Foose name on an existing truck and calling it a day.

Chip is actively involved in the creative process, working alongside the FOX Factory Vehicles team to shape the design and development of the first collaboration.

That means bringing his perspective on stance, proportion and design details together with our expertise in performance engineering, component integration and building complete specialty vehicles.

It's a collaborative process, with both teams contributing what they do best and challenging one another to take the finished vehicle further.

For enthusiasts who have followed Foose's one-of-a-kind creations over the years, there's another exciting dimension to this partnership: the opportunity to bring that distinctive design thinking to performance vehicles customers can actually own.

“We wanted to bring together Chip's unmistakable design philosophy with the engineering, capability, and performance that FOX Factory Vehicles is known for.”

- Rich Webber, Vice President and General Manager, FOX Factory Vehicles

The Automotive World Is Taking Notice

The partnership is already attracting attention from two of the industry's most recognized automotive publications.

HOT ROD's partnership feature takes readers inside Chip's Huntington Beach shop, exploring his approach to design and how a conversation with Rich Webber evolved into a larger collaboration.

Meanwhile, MotorTrend's coverage examines what makes the partnership different, including Chip's hands-on role in vehicle development and the opportunity to bring Foose design into a new chapter of complete-vehicle engineering.

Both stories offer a closer look at the thinking behind the collaboration—and why we're excited about what comes next.
